The Uptown

In 2017, my sitcom writing partner, his wife, and I acquired the 1,500-seat Uptown Theater in Utica, NY. Soon after taking ownership, we established a nonprofit to operate the theater and fulfill its mission of restoring the nationally historic venue. After 10 years of fundraising and renovation, we plan to reopen the auditorium as a one-of-a-kind comedy theater in Central New York.
