If we met at a COCKTAIL party and you asked me what I do, I might say…

I work in advertising. Or I might bore you with how I’m a writer, a visual craftsperson, a story wonk. All three are professionally true. I also own a comedy theater. That’s a fun fact. But mostly, I’ll want to talk about what you do for a living, and for fun, and on vacation, and so on and so on.

Leave room for being humans.

There are too many screens. Too many distractions. Too many messages. Not enough meaning in the world.

Tech is amazing.

I genuinely love the infinite possibilities AI presents.

But I will always make space for humans. Until the robots say otherwise, I plan to keep giving people something to care about.

Simplicity is genius. BUT It is not easy. 

Don’t rest until you’ve achieved the most simple form. Subtract. Subtract. Subtract.
